FAQ's
about Face Contouring
Is Thread Lift safe, and how does the procedure work?
Thread Lift is a minimally invasive procedure using dissolvable threads that are naturally absorbed by the body. It is very safe when performed by an experienced physician. The threads are introduced through small entry points on the skin to lift and tighten areas of laxity.
How long do Thread Lift results last?
Results can last 12–18 months. The lifting effect is immediately visible, while collagen stimulation continues for up to 6 months post-procedure, providing ongoing improvement in skin quality.
Does Thread Lift leave scars?
Thread Lift does not leave permanent scarring. Only small entry points from the needle insertion are present, which heal within a few days and become invisible after recovery.
How long is the downtime after Thread Lift?
Downtime is minimal, approximately 3–5 days. Most patients can resume normal activities within 1–2 days, however, strenuous activity and facial massage should be avoided for 2 weeks. Any bruising will resolve on its own within approximately 1 week.
Who is a suitable candidate for Thread Lift?
Thread Lift is ideal for individuals experiencing mild to moderate skin laxity, particularly around the cheeks, jawline, and neck. It is most suitable for those between the ages of 35–60 who seek a lifting result without surgery.
