FAQ's
about Face Contouring
What type of filler is used, and is it safe?
We use FDA-approved hyaluronic acid-based filler, which is safe and highly compatible with the body. As hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally found in the skin, the risk of allergic reaction is extremely minimal.
How long do filler results last?
Results generally last one year more, depending on the area treated, the type of filler used and life style. Higher-movement areas such as the lips may have a shorter duration compared to areas like the cheeks.
Is the filler injection painful?
Discomfort is minimal. We use topical anesthesia and injections, and our fillers also contain lidocaine for added comfort. Most patients describe the sensation as a brief, mild sting.
Can filler be dissolved if I'm unhappy with the results?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved using the enzyme hyaluronidase if necessary. However, this is rarely required as thorough pre-treatment consultation is always conducted.
Which areas can be treated with filler?
Filler can be applied to the cheeks, chin, lips, nose (non-surgical rhinoplasty), under-eye area, temples, and nasolabial folds to restore volume and refine facial contours.
